Šiemet Žiemos stovykla vyks vasario 1-3d. Šiais metais remontas vyksta Dainavoj…Ledynas ivyks:

Stovkloj skautai/ės turės galimybę:

· jojimas arkliu

· nature center

· hay ride

· šaudymas iš lanko

· balandėliu virimo pamokas

· iškylos

· laužai

· ????

Kaip ir pernai, tik vyresni skautai ir skautės galės dalyvauti. Taigi, tie skautai/ės, kurie jau turi bent raudonus šlipsus ar lanko pirmą skyrių galės stovklauti.

Penktadienį: prašome, kad visi vaikai būtų pristatyti Stovykloje prieš 7:00 vv. Prašome neveluoti,nes skautai/ės pradės užsiėmimus tuoj po atidarymo.

Sekmadienį: 10:30 ryte stovyklos uždarymas.

Tėveliai pasiims vaikus iš stovyklos tarp 11:00 r (Bus skautiški užsiėmimai visą rytą, tai prašome, kad tėveliai neatvažiuotų prieš 11:00 r.

Vadovai išvažiuoja namo 12 val.po pietų.

Penktadienio vakare bus tik užkandžiai, tai prašome pavalgydinti vaikučius prieš atvežant.

Mokestis: $65.00 kiekvienam stovyklautojui.

Rasite prisegtas formas, kurias turite užpildyti kiekvienam stovyklautojui. Be šių formų vaikai nebus leidžiami stovyklauti.

Privaloma užsiregistruoti iki Sausio 15 d. Prašome nedelsti, nes reikalinga žinoti, kiek stovyklautojų bus.

Taip pat, jeigu nesate sumokėję šių metų nario mokesti, prašome tuo pačiu laiku sumokėti.

Formas ir pilną mokestį (čekius rašyti Lithuanian Scout Association) galima persiūsti paštu arba įduoti iki Sausio 15d.

Dear Scouts,

Happy New Year. We want to wish you and your family a healthy and successful scouting year. We are planning another Winter Scout Camp for this year. Unfortunately, Dainava is going through renovations so this year Ledynas is scheduled for the weekend of February 1-3 at:

YMCA Storer Camp 6941 Stoney Lake Rd, Jackson, MI 49201

(approximately five mile from Dainava just past Napoleon)

As in previous years, only older scouts are allowed to attend. That is, those that already have their red ties or are attending first grade and older.

Any adults wishing to attend please contact me regarding helping with programs.

The new location does provide us with some exciting new opportunities. Among these are:

· horse back riding

· nature center

· hay ride

· archery

· stuffed cabbage cooking class

· winter hiking

· bonfire

· ????

Friday: 7:00 pm. Parents arrive with their campers and register at the White House. Please arrive no later than 7:00 as the campers will be assigned to various groups to begin their assignments once the opening ceremonies are completed.

7:30pm Opening Session (parents welcome)

Sunday: 10:30 am Closing Session (parents welcome)

Parents are to pick up their campers between 11:00 and 12:00pm. We ask that parents abide by this schedule and give their scouts the opportunity to complete the scouting activities scheduled for Sunday morning.

All leaders will be departing camp by 12:00pm.

Please insure that your children have had a healthy dinner prior to the Friday drop off. We will only be providing a bedtime snack.

The cost per camper is $65.00 for the weekend. See the attachments for all necessary forms required of every camper. Your child will not be allowed to stay if the forms are not submitted. All forms are due no later than January 15th.

If you have not paid your yearly dues, please complete the necessary forms for that as well. We ask that everyone complete their registration by January 15th so we can accurately plan for meals and activities.
